Rabbi Shlomo Einhorn is a leader in Jewish education and community engagement, known for his creative teaching methods. He holds Yadin Yadin semicha and a Master’s in Education from Yeshiva University.
Rabbi Einhorn started his career at Manhattan’s Lincoln Square Synagogue and later became the head Rabbi of New York’s West Side Institutional Synagogue. His innovative methods revitalized the congregation, prompting the Orthodox Union to create a think tank under his leadership to develop programs for synagogues across the country.
Career & Achievements
In 2012, Rabbi Einhorn returned to Los Angeles to serve as the Rav and Dean of Yavneh Hebrew Academy. His leadership brought significant changes to the community and education system. Famous for his 19-hour Torah class, Rabbi Einhorn is dedicated to engaging, in-depth Jewish study.
He focuses on blending traditional Jewish wisdom with modern life, particularly for young people. This is evident in his educational materials and musical projects, like the Nagel family Lev Ladaat Chumash for teens and “Judaism Alive.”
